This retreat offers a rare opportunity to experience an authentic 𝗣𝗲𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗲 (Hikuri) ceremony on European soil, guided by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘇 and 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮.
The Wirrarika (Huichol) are one of the most closed indigenous communities in the world. They have preserved their ceremonies unchanged for centuries, speak Wixárika and do not allow outsiders into their rituals. Only when a Marakame receives the sacred duty from the Highest Spirits can he leave the community and offer the medicine to the world. This is one of those exceptional moments.

Combined with two Ayahuasca ceremonies held by 𝗔𝘅𝗶𝘀 and 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮, founders of Amayama, this 5-day journey weaves together two powerful traditions: Ayahuasca, the Grandmother, opens the heart and clears the path, Peyote, the Grandfather, leads us back home.Plant medicines are the keys and doors for humanity to come back to the source, to our true nature.

☀️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 ☀️

This 5-day retreat is a profound and trasformative journey through two sacred medicine traditions: Ayahuasca and Peyote (Hikuri).

⛩️ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 & 𝟮 – 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗔𝘆𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀
Held in the Temple with live music and sacred chanting, these ceremonies invite deep healing and profound spiritual insights. Ayahuasca cleans and removes blockages in order to open the heart, rebalance the energies, and prepare the ground for the Peyote journey.

🦌 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 – 𝗣𝗲𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘇 & 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮
During the day are available ostheopatic massages, yoga, integration practices and rest to prepare for the night ahead. In the late afternoon, an introductory talk with Marakame Don Juan Ortiz & Devi Chandra Ma.
At sunset, the traditional Peyote ceremony begins around the Sacred Fire and continues until sunrise. Through traditional chanting in Wixárika, the Marakame narrates the path of the Blue Deer (Hikuri), the grandfather spirit of Peyote, guiding humanity back home.

🌿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟰 – 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁
A day to ground, rest, and integrate. Optional individual cleansing and healing sessions with Don Juan Ortiz & Devi Chandra Ma. Discover the Wirrarika Market where Don Juan Ortiz brings handcrafted jewelry, power objects, and traditional artifacts made by the families of his desert village.

🛤 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱 – 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
Final integration circle and closing ritual, gathering insights and guidance for bringing the teachings into daily life. Departure at 11:00.

Between ceremonies, there is space for rest and reflection. Daily sharing circles help anchor the insights received, while Axis’ method 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 supports the integration process so that the retreat’s wisdom continues to guide you long after you return home.
Complementary sessions such as osteopathic and Ayurvedic massages, Soma Healing, yoga, and art therapy are available to harmonize body and spirit, grounding the medicine work into physical and emotional balance.

The Ayahuasca ceremonies and full retreat are guided by 𝗔𝘅𝗶𝘀 (15+ years psychologist & shaman) and 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮 (7+ years plant work & integrative practices), in a unique blend of 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺 and 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲.
They are joined by their teachers 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 (20+ years osteopath & shamanic healer) and 𝗦𝘆𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗲 (20+ years plant work & Ayurvedic nutritionist).
The Peyote Ceremony is led by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘇, First Singer and leader of the Wirrarika Nation, accompanied by 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮, Mexican medicine woman with 25+ years on the Sacred Medicines Path and founder of Prana Foundation.
Together, they create a rare constellation of lineage and lived wisdom, bringing depth, safety, and care to your journey.
